I know, I know... I've been lax at keeping this blog updated, sorry folks. This has been a strange summer with my kids out of school and NOT wanting to do anything or go anywhere most of the time. I also started working again for a therapist practice which is turning into a regular gig. And of course, I am still volunteering for a couple of nonprofit organizations working with the disadvantaged in our community. Hopefully, now that my "stick in the mud" (JK) kids are back in... -

As some of you may know, my eldest child "Meg" had all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed on Friday. Understand that Meg has never had any type of surgery, so she went in there not knowing what to expect. Well, she came out weepy (I was told the anesthesia does this to you), but she calmed down once we arrived home. She was able to swallow 3 Ibuprophen - with numb face and all - then almost immediately fell asleep. Throughout the day, she changed out the gauze dressings, and she was able to... -
