I am currently loving the new song by Addison Road. Awesome song. :) Some of my favorite artists are Plumb, Falling Up, and Relient K. image

I also love to listen to soundtracks... not the ones with words but just the music. I have tons of soundtracks as well as classical music. Give me some classical to stitch by and I am good. image

Interesting facts about me

I just love to cross-stitch. It is my main hobby. Right now I am working on Mirabilia's Stargazer and not even a quarter done yet. I have also started Mystic Stitch Floral Expressions II and am working on a baby sampler for my boss who had her baby on January 1st.

I am currently going to school full time to become an accountant. I love it! I also work two jobs. One is full-time at an insurance office where I am licensed to sell every type of insurance you can think of and I also work at the local LNS Heart's Desire in Wichita KS. I only work there part time though... that is just enough for me! LOL Otherwise I would never have a paycheck! LOL

    I just got new reading glasses and I can actually see the holes in the fabric now! LOL :) I am stitching over one on a couple of things and I was having a really hard time seeing the holes on 28ct even. :) Now that I can see I have been stitching up a storm. Sort of. LOL

    Why oh why oh why can't I just stay home all day and stitch. If I did that then maybe I would get some stuff done. I have been going to the gym everyday so far for at least an hour and then going home and working on homework and that doesn't leave much time to stitch.

    I have officially started stitching Dragons Tear by Stab n' Stash designs and so far so good... considering I only have 400 stitches in it.

    YEAH!! I am finally out of my slump. I was getting worried there for a while but all I did all weekend was work on my stitching. Of course, I really should have been cleaning and doing a project for my accounting class but oh well.

  5. Stitching Slump

    Lately I have been in such a stitching slump. I haven't had time to even pick up my stitching from its place on my couch and move it to the side! Between work and school there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. I am hoping that once I get into a good routine that I will be able to pick back up my stitching.

    2 words for ya...IT SUCKS!

    We are going to have to spend alot more $$ to get a house in a good neighborhood and with want we really need. We will be maxed out that is for sure. Atleast with what we are making on our house it will pay off most if not all of our cc debt which will free up alot as we have been paying quite a bit extra each month.
    sucks but gotta do what is best for us and cc's are not the way.

    I tell ya, it is exciting, stressful and fun all wrapped together. It is really hard keeping a house clean when you have a 1 year old though!

    I wish I was getting some stitching done. Maybe at lunch today. Our house is going on the market Friday and we are trying to get all that stuff done, plus we have Michael's first birthday party on Saturday.
    It has been a little hectic! Not to mention I have been sick on top of it all.

    Whining over. Can't wait to see your progress!!

    imageHappy Birthday to Michael! I have never sold a house but I did buy my first one. Talk about not knowing what owning is like. I love it though. I can do what I want and not have to worry about neighbors in an apartment. I am thinking about in another two years or so moving to a bigger house in a better neighborhood.     I wore a hoodie today (casual day) and I am sweating. Guess our heavy duty space heater kicked in and started working. UGH.
    Only an hour to go and then I am outta here for 3 days. Busy weekend but it is better than busy at work :)

    I am freezing, we don't have heat in our part of the office. It didn't work last year but it wasn't that cold. Well this year we thought they fixed it and well that was soooo not the case.
    My toes will have frost bite here soon.

    My boss is really ticked. She has heat in her part of our offices but our section doesn't. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon or I will be wearing layers to work tomorrow

    Thanks for the comment. I am hoping to post a few pics of him from tonight in his V-day get up. I got him the puppy on the Hallmark commercials and he LOVES it. He likes anything that will play music or talk.
